This PhotoShop workshop is designed specifically for photographers. Photoshop is a very complicated, all-inclusive computer program that can be confusing and hard to learn and understand. Our day will be spent concentrating on the features of this massive program, covering specific techniques that a photographer needs to be familiar with to be competitive in this market. We will cover, learn, and discuss the many tools and techniques photographers use every day. PhotoShop is the industry standard when it comes to digital image manipulation and retouching, and this workshop will use PhotoShop as it's foundation, For this workshop please bring your laptop and have photoshop installed. If you don't have Photoshop please let me know and I can provide you with a copy of the program to install on your PC. Also make sure you have a "two-button" mouse with your laptop to use at the program. Photoshop cannot be used effectively with the touch-pad on a laptop. _______________________________ The morning session from 9-Noon is Photoshop Basics. We'll be covering the normal things a photographer will do and the tools he might use as part of their "post processing" workflow. ________________________________ The afternoon session from 1-4pm is a more advance menu of Photoshop techniques. These are more complicated retouching and correction concepts and tool usage.   Some of the techniques & topics we'll cover in this workshop include: P H O T O S H O P Photoshop Workflow Color correcting Images Lightening & Darkening Re-sizing and image sizes Retouching (removing items and camoflouging defects) Clipping paths(take an element from one photo and put it in another photo) Creating Layered & Composited Images Straightening and Transforming Watermarking your Images with a Copyright Gallery Quality B&W Imagery The workshop is carefully developed so that you can learn in a monitored "step by step" manner, rather than being overwhelmed with information and getting confused. (most have done that already) So, bring your laptop, something to take notes on, and a willing and open mind ready to learn! If you don't have a copy of Photoshop we can provide you a copy of the program. Come early if you need to have us help you install it on your laptop. ___________________________________________________________________________
